URBAN ENCLAVE. The site is located in the heart of the KL central business district and surrounded by high-rise office buildings. Three residential blocks are positioned in a U-shaped layout, towering around a central park. This configuration on the 4-acre site enables the creation of a garden sanctuary of lush greenery, surrounding a clubhouse and a swimming pool.
Tower 1 has a more elongated footprint than the other two towers and fronts the main street in the south of the site. This block rises above a two-level commercial podium block at its base. The curvilinear facade of the podium block softens the building edge whilst the tower block is pushed back away from the street edge, allowing the creation of a landscaped alfresco dining area on ground level, fronting the main street.
The drop-off porch for Tower 1 is located along its northern side, approachable via an internal road. This internal road slices the site into two halves, wrapping around the northern site boundary. Here, a row of piloti frames a double-volume, undercroft zone, which accommodates meeting and function rooms. This creates a passage composed of subtle, diffused light and cool breeze. At the rear, the two other identical towers are placed east-westerly, perpendicular to Tower 1, so as to flank the park on its two sides.
This contemporary urban dwelling offers two types of residential units ranging from 1,100 to 1,400 square feet each. All units are distributed over 25 floors with 2 lift lobbies per floor and 4 units per lift lobby.
In varying locations, these units offer alternate views of KLCC, KL Tower and the private park below.
